Clayface is all about place & purity. Feeling Shiraz still is a little unknown & sits in the shadow of its brother Cabernet, Sean has chosen the Boo-book Owl perching in the native Marri Trees which surround the vineyard where the shiraz is grown. Being a dark horse so to speak we have the night sky plus fruits of plus aromas this wine contains.

All of the Clayface wines are gently made in pure amphora. The natural terracotta allows air to flow into the amphora with out imparting any flavour nor aroma. Allowing the wine to shine to express the true variety, vintage & vineyard. The place where is was grown & made.
